ReviewsI review the games and casinos on INFERNOSLOTS. It means two things: that I give ratings I can defend, and that I read all the fine print the operators hope no one has the patience to read. The latter takes longer and is usually more important.
About me
What I do, what I like and where I draw the line
My taste goes in the opposite direction to the rest of the editorial team: I'm drawn to high volatility, stacked multipliers and games where the ceiling is ridiculously high. Not because I think I'll reach it, but because that's where the game math gets interesting — someone has deliberately built a hundred empty spins for a single one to be memorable.
On the site I am responsible for the reviews: the slot sites' ratings and the walkthroughs of casinos. The guides and explanatory texts are written Elin Sandgren. The split is intentional — the person who gives the rating should not also be the one who writes the rules for how the rating should be read.
The casino section is the thankless half of the job. An operator can have a well-built lobby, fast support and still hide the wagering requirement behind a registration. Then it will be noted in the review, regardless of how nice the site looks. If an operator does not publish its terms openly I write that they do not — not that the terms «are reasonable».
A rating from me is always provisional until the game has been run. First the rule sheet and the numbers, then the session, and if the game over- or under-delivers the score is adjusted. If it says the session is booked, then it is: I don't invent a gaming experience I haven't had.
How I work
Four rules behind every rating
No numbers I haven't seen
Multipliers, jackpot tiers and thresholds are published only after they have been verified in the game's info panel. Until then the table remains empty.
The rating is locked after the session.
Points are recorded on the rule sheet and figures, and adjusted after the game round. If the session is not completed it is stated in the review, with the date.
A review is not a sales pitch
A bad casino gets a bad review, and no link to it is included in the review. The ad link is separate and leads to the partner casino.
Lenient licences are stated outright
Anjouan and Curaçao are weak regulators. I'll say it like it is, without pretending that a licence line automatically means safety.
