How we test — and what we never claims
This page exists so you can judge us before you take a single figure we publish at face value. Here we state what we actually do, in what order, which sources we use — and just as importantly: what we don't do, even if it would have looked good in a marketing text.
Short version: we read the games' and operators' own published material, capture it on screen, compare it against each other and print out when a detail is missing. We never make up a number, a bonus or an experience.
How it works, step by step
Same six steps for every game that lands in the catalog
- We take the game from the poolThe title is picked up when it is published by the provider. Release date, studio and name come from the provider's own material — not from an operator's promotional page.
- We read the rulesRTP, number of winways, volatility, features and max win are found in the game's own information panel and rule documentation. If the game is distributed in multiple RTP versions we note that.
- We copy, not rewriteThe numbers are entered into the catalogue exactly as they appear. If volatility or hit frequency is missing we write «not published» — we never estimate a value that later looks like a fact.
- We run the gameBase game, bonus hunt and where the bonus round is available. During the session screenshots are taken that are published on the slot page. If the session is not completed it is stated in the review, with a clear marker.
- We give ratingsA preliminary rating based on numbers and the rule sheet, which is adjusted after the session if the game over- or under-delivers. The rating is editorial and signed by the person who awarded it.
- We updateIf a provider changes something, or we discover an error, the page is corrected and the date is updated. Old figures are not kept «because it looked better».
Casinos: what we can verify
And where the limit of our control actually lies
A casino is reviewed based on what the operator itself publishes: who runs the site, which license is stated, which providers are in the lobby, which payment methods are listed, what customer support provides and what is stated in the bonus terms. We go through the site, take screenshots and compare the information against each other — the footer against the terms page, the campaign page against the fine print.
If the terms are locked behind a registration we state that they are. It is in itself a judgement: an operator that doesn't show its wagering requirement until you've created an account has chosen not to be comparable.
Withdrawal times are the clearest example. We reproduce what the operator itself states about processing and methods. If they state nothing it reads «not published» in the table. We never convert a promise in a promotional banner into a measured figure.
Screenshots and play sessions
Why the visuals matter
Each slot page is built to show four things on screen: the base game, a win, the bonus round and the special mechanic. The images are our own from the session — not the provider's press images. If the session is queued placeholders display the text «screenshot on the way», and the rating is marked as provisional.
We do not embed the providers' demo games on our pages. If you want to try a title without money, a demo mode is available at casinos that offer it — we don't pretend the game is hosted by us.
We never do this
Seven rows that are easier to promise than to keep.
- We don't make up numbers. If a piece of information is missing, it says so.
- We don't write made-up player reviews. If there are no reviews to show, there is no review block.
- We don't guarantee wins and does not describe any betting strategy as «working».
- We do not sell ratings. No operator can pay for placement or points.
- We don't hide criticism to indicate that a page is monetized — the ad link goes to a different casino than the one we review, for that reason.
- We don't copy providers' texts verbatim; rules are rewritten in Swedish with our own words.
- We do not publish half-finished pages that look finished. If something is under construction it will say so.
