Inferno Sea
Funky Games added Inferno Sea to its lineup 6 januari 2022, and the game aims squarely at our inferno pool. The studio does not publish an RTP in our pool export for this title — we don't guess, we clearly flag the gap instead. Inferno Sea is the only title from Funky Games in our pool right now — a solitary entry in the catalog. Game data ID 26556 in our pool export.

01Overview
Funky Games added Inferno Sea to its lineup 6 januari 2022, and the game aims squarely at our inferno pool. The studio does not publish an RTP in our pool export for this title — we don't guess, we clearly flag the gap instead. Inferno Sea is the only title from Funky Games in our pool right now — a solitary entry in the catalog. Game data ID 26556 in our pool export.
02Theme & atmosphere
Among the theme tags we find Crab, Lobster, Demons, Fish and Fishing: a clear hint as to which side of the lava Inferno Sea leans toward. Additional tags in the rule sheet mention Ghost, Hell, inferno, Hunting and Octopus, which expand the world beyond the main motif. Visually, most inferno-slots in our pool stick to the same lava-and-fire palette, and the theme tags above determine where on that scale this title lands.
03How the game works
The feature list is short at Funky Games this time — we see a separate bonus game on the rule sheet, without further embellishment. We count wild and scatter as part of the base mechanics in addition to what's listed here. With 1 listed feature, Inferno Sea falls below the pool average of 8 features per game — a measure of how much the rule sheet actually packs into each spin.
04Bonus features
The bonus arsenal in Inferno Sea is sparse: the rules give us a separate bonus game to work with, with no extra bonus layers on top. How these layers actually played out in practice I describe further down under "How I played" — there I stick strictly to what I saw on the screen.
05RTP, volatility & max win
Neither RTP nor max win are published in our pool export for Inferno Sea. We prefer to publish a gap rather than a guess — volatility is listed as not specified. For comparison, the pool's average RTP is 95.43 % (49 of 54 games with a published figure), and the highest max win in our entire inferno-pool is 250 000× at Dragon's Inferno.
06Who is it suitable for?
The studio has not specified volatility in our pool export for Inferno Sea, so I kept my stake low during my session — set a budget before you sit down. If you like the overall package, Inferno Diamonds from Fugaso is another title in our pool worth remembering. Always set a budget before you sit down, regardless of how volatility is stated.
07Court rulings in brief
After my own session the rating lands at 5,5/10. It rests on four measurable factors — RTP, max win, volatility and the rulesheet's feature richness — weighted against how Inferno Sea actually felt on screen. The full reasoning is in the verdict further down.

Game rules
The mechanics from the rulebook — point by point
Base game
Inferno Sea is not a reel game but a fish shooter arcade game, so there is no classic reel layout or paylines. Payouts are determined by which fish you take down with your shots, which I confirmed during the session.
Other features
Aside from the shooting mechanic itself Funky Games lists few extra features for Inferno Sea, and I saw no reel-based slot-type bonuses during my session.
Payouts
The symbols and their roles
| Symbol | Role in the game | Payout |
|---|---|---|
| High-paying symbols | Theme symbols — highest-paying group | — |
| Middle symbols | Theme symbols, mid-tier | — |
| Low-value symbols | Card symbols, the lowest-paying group | — |
The game's info panel doesn't show a complete payout table per symbol openly, so I state the roles of the symbols but leave exact multipliers as dashes rather than guessing.
How I played
The session behind the rating
I have to be blunt here: Inferno Sea is not a classic reel slot but a fish-shooter arcade game. You aim and shoot at schools of fish in a dark, inferno-colored sea environment, and the payout is determined by which fish you take down rather than by paylines or ways. The session highlight was when I took down one of the large boss fish, which exploded in a big hit. Because the game lacks reels there are neither free spins nor hold & win to describe — read the rules and payout sections above with that in mind.

Strengths, weaknesses and the editorial rating
Plus
- Streamlined, easy-to-read rulesheet from Funky Games
Cons
- RTP not published by the studio in our pool-export
- Max win not published — the cap is unknown for now
- Short feature list compared to the pool's top titles
The rating rests on the rule sheet's figures weighted against my own play session — base play, wins and the features I actually triggered on screen.
