The composition says something about who the casino targets. License and regulation

Who is behind it and under which license

Grailbet is operated by Grail Technologies Ltd, registered in Saint Lucia with company number 2025-00264 and address in Rodney Bay. The gaming license is issued by Anjouan, an autonomous island in the Union of the Comoros, with license number ALSI-202512005-FI1. Company name, registration number and license number are printed in the footer, which is actually not a given in this segment — several of the casinos we review during the same week state nothing at all, and one of them, Spinita, lacks license information entirely.

That the details exist is therefore a plus. That they lead to Anjouan is a minus. An Anjouan licence is cheap to obtain and imposes significantly lower requirements on the operator than, for example, a Maltese or British licence: less transparency in accounting, lower requirements for the handling of customer funds and — most important for you as a player — a dispute resolution that in practice is hard to pursue. If a conflict about a withdrawal arises there is no European supervisory authority that can compel the operator to do anything. This is not a claim that Grailbet would behave badly; it is a description of what protection exists if something goes wrong.

Our register confirms the same details as the site: Grail Technologies Ltd, Anjouan. It is a detail worth noting, because it is far from always the case. At Fantasino states the site Curaçao and a completely different company than the registry does — that kind of gap usually means the brand has changed owner or platform. At Grailbet there is no such gap.

Security and fair play

Legal pages, data protection and player protection

The legal package is more extensive than average in this category. In the footer there are separate pages for dispute resolution, self-exclusion, anti-money laundering rules (AML), customer due diligence (KYC), complaints handling, GDPR and a code of ethics. That an operator bothered to write seven separate documents instead of a single lumped terms page suggests a platform that is built to withstand scrutiny, not just to go live quickly.

The site runs over an encrypted connection and the games are supplied by external studios via an aggregator, which means that the slots have the same math and the same certification at Grailbet as at any other operator whatsoever. It's an important point: a Hacksaw slot does not behave differently because the casino has a weak license. What differs is what happens around the game — bonuses, withdrawals and disputes.

Except for the 18 original games. They run on the operator's own server and are not reported by any independent testing laboratory that we can find. Crypto casinos usually solve it with provably fair, i.e. cryptographic verification of each round, but we have not been able to confirm that Grailbet publishes verification data. And then what bothers most: one of the reviews on Trustpilot describes that the player did not find deposit limit or pause tools in its account, despite the site having a page about self-exclusion. We can not verify that without an account, and we report it as it is — a player review, not an established fact. But the combination «detailed documents, questionable self-service» is exactly the kind that usually leads to problems, and it pulls down the safety subscore more than the license itself.

That is the complete picture of what is published — any listing of all coins, networks, minimum amounts or fees is not available before logging in.

For a Swedish player it means two things. First the practical: you already need to own crypto, or buy it via an exchange, before you can deposit. It's an extra step with its own fee and its own exchange rate, and it is a step that lies entirely outside the casino's control. Then the principled: no BankID login, no Swedish payment methods, no Swish. Someone used to depositing from their Swedish bank and getting the money traceably back to the same account faces a different reality here.

That the balance is held in USD is in itself worth considering. You deposit in crypto, play against a dollar balance and withdraw in crypto again — that’s two conversions per session, and the rate between them is not yours. For large amounts it is a real cost that doesn’t appear anywhere in the cashier.

That withdrawals are fast is credible: crypto payouts are technically a transaction, not a bank day. That they go through without verification, however, is more double-edged than it sounds. An operator that pays out four-figure amounts without ever having checked identity will sooner or later perform the check — and it's usually done at the largest withdrawal, not the first. It's the standard pattern for complaints across the whole industry: the money flows until the amount becomes interesting.

Our recommendation is therefore dull and consistent: do your verification immediately when the account is new, before you have anything to withdraw. Upload ID and proof of address, save receipts for your deposits and keep the crypto address you withdraw to in the same name as the account. That way there's nothing to get stuck on when the amount finally becomes large.

What speaks in favor of the support is the players' own reviews. Two of the six on Trustpilot mention the customer service explicitly and positively: one describes that the support "resolved an unpaid game that have not been counted correctly, another that the support helped during a withdrawal. It's not a large sample, but it points the same way, and the operator also responds to all reviews on Trustpilot — even the one-star. A company that answers criticism publicly is usually a company that can be reached.

Our stance: the support appears to work, but it's an English-language chat window without published hours and without a phone number.
