01Overview
7 juni 2020 released Thunderkick Beat the Beast Cerberus Inferno — yet another studio sending its reels straight into the lava. The rulebook lists RTP 96,15 % and a max win of 6 666× the stake — figures we take directly from the game's own documentation. Beat the Beast Cerberus Inferno is the only title from Thunderkick in our pool right now — a solitary entry in the catalogue. Game data ID 17163 in our pool export.
02Theme & atmosphere
Ancient civilizations, Axe, Greece and Hell, inferno are the tags the studio itself has applied to the game, and they set the tone for the entire symbol row. Additional tags in the paytable mention Helmet, Monster, Red and Violet, which expand the world beyond the main motif. Visually, most inferno-slots in our pool stick to the same lava-and-fire palette, and the theme tags above determine where on that scale this particular title lands.
03How the game works
The feature list is short at Thunderkick this time — we see stacked symbols, scatters, wild symbols and free spins on the paytable, without further embellishment. We count wilds and scatters in the base mechanics in addition to what is listed here. With 4 listed features, Beat the Beast Cerberus Inferno is below the pool average of 8 features per game — a measure of how feature-heavy each spin actually is.
04Bonus features
The bonus arsenal is built on stacked symbols, scatters, wild symbols and free spins. Among the heavier elements we find free spins — exactly the kind of layer that determines whether a session ends up uneventful or volcanic. How these layers actually played out in practice I describe further down under "How I played" — there I stick strictly to what I saw on the screen.
05RTP, volatility & max win
RTP 96,15 % and max win 6 666× are figures straight from the rulebook. Volatility is listed as high, which sets the expectation for how payouts are distributed. For comparison, the pool's average RTP is 95.43 % (49 of 54 games with a published figure), and the highest max win in our entire inferno pool is 250 000× at Dragon's Inferno.
06Who is it suitable for?
This is a game for you who like to chase big wins and can live with sparser payouts along the way. If you prefer steadier payouts there are softer alternatives in our pool. If you like the overall package, Gold Inferno from AGS is another title in our pool worth keeping in mind. Always set a budget before you sit down, regardless of how the volatility is stated.
07Court rulings in brief
After my own session the rating lands at 7,2/10. It rests on four measurable factors — RTP, max win, volatility and the rulesheet's feature richness — weighted against how Beat the Beast Cerberus Inferno actually felt on screen. The full reasoning is in the verdict further down.

The mechanics from the rulebook — point by point
Base game
Thunderkick does not specify the reel configuration in detail in our pool export for Beat the Beast Cerberus Inferno. Matching symbols pay according to the game's own line- or multiway rules — in my session I spun the base game and noted how the symbols fall on the reels.
Wild & special symbols
The game works with wild, which replaces paying symbols and scatter, which opens bonus modes. During the session I saw the wild symbols land and take up space in the win lines; however, not all exact multiplier values are shown openly in the info panel.
Free spins & multipliers
free spins can be found in the rule sheet. Buy prices and multiplier values that the game doesn't show openly in the info panel I leave unspecified rather than guess.
Payouts
The symbols and their roles
| Symbol | Role in the game | Payout |
|---|---|---|
| Wild | Replaces all paying symbols | — |
| Scatter | Triggers free spins or a bonus round | — |
| High-paying symbols | Theme symbols — highest-paying group | — |
| Middle symbols | Theme symbols, mid-tier | — |
| Low-value symbols | Card symbols, the lowest-paying group | — |
The game's info panel doesn't show a complete payout table per symbol openly, so I state the roles of the symbols but leave exact multipliers as dashes rather than guessing.
How I played
The session behind the rating
Beat the Beast: Cerberus' Inferno is a tightly designed duel against the hellhound from Thunderkicks, and the reels feel fast. The base game delivered steady hits — a glowing win line paid 0,84 — and the expanding W-wilds are what really elevate a spin when they cover an entire reel. However, I didn't trigger the free spins round during the session, so I don't describe it in detail.

Court rulings
Strengths, weaknesses and the editorial rating
Plus
- Max win 6 666× — a solid cap in the pool
- RTP 96,15 % in the standard version — above the pool average
Cons
- High volatility — long dry spells included
- Short feature list compared to the pool's top titles
The rating rests on the rule sheet's figures weighted against my own play session — base play, wins and the features I actually triggered on screen.
