Gameplay and paytable
King Kong Splash: Power Play is a 6-reel game with 4096 ways to win (Ways). A win is formed from left to right on adjacent reels with the same symbols; only the highest win per way is paid, and all winning combinations are added together. The official RTP is 94 %, and it is the same in the Power Play, Super Power Play and Ultra Power Play modes. The highest possible win is 10 000 times the bet.
The payouts are read from the paytable at a bet of 1,00 GBP. Kong (the hunter) pays up to 5,00 for 6 symbols (5x the bet), 2,50 for 5 (2,5x), 2,00 for 4 (2x), 1,00 for 3 (1x) and 0,50 for 2 (0,5x). Rhinoceros and tiger pay on the same scale with 6/5/4/3/2 symbols: 2,50/2,00/1,50/0,80/0,40. Parrot and crocodile pay 2,00/1,50/1,20/0,60/0,20. The low card symbols (two different sets) pay for 3–6 symbols either 1,50/1,20/1,00/0,50 or 1,00/0,80/0,60/0,40 depending on the symbol.
Wild, Collect and Kong's Cash Modifiers
The Wild symbol replaces all symbols except Bonus Scatter, Collect Scatter, Cash Prize Scatter and the Super Shark symbol. Wild can only appear on reels 2-6.
Cash Prize scatter symbols can land on the reels with values of 0,5x-20x of the stake. Collect Scatter symbols are active on reels 1 and 6: when a Cash Prize Scatter is visible and a Collect Scatter lands on reel 1 and/or 6, the Collect feature is triggered and the Collect symbol expands to cover the whole reel and collects the visible cash values.
During the base game or a Power Play round one of four reel modifiers (reel modifier) can be triggered at random: Feeding Frenzy adds more Cash Prize Scatter symbols to the reel; Bonus Boost adds more Bonus Scatter symbols; Win Boost randomly upgrades reel symbols to the highest symbol and/or Wild (base game only); Wipeout removes all symbols from the reel and replaces them with new ones that produce a win.
Special collectors and Super Shark
The Collect symbol collects the visible Cash Prize Scatter values. Expand Collect expands the Cash Prize values across the reel (values on the same reel are added together) and creates a Boost Zone, which spins and brings out a fish that increases the collected value up to 10 times the base bet. Cascade Collect removes all other symbols except the Collect and Cash Prize Scatter symbols, and new symbols fall down and award a win. Colossal Collect gathers all Cash Prize Scatter values and brings out a giant wheel above reels 2-5, which spins and increases the collected value - this can repeat up to 5 times. Reel Collect spins a mini reel that can award up to 5 extra Cash Prize Scatter symbols or convert into an additional Collect symbol.
The Super Shark symbol expands and increases in value each time it lands together with any Collect Scatter symbol, until the shark is eventually 'caught'.
Bonus, Feature Upgrades and Power Play
3 or more visible Bonus Scatter symbols trigger the bonus and give the player the choice between Kong Bonus Spins or Fishin' Mayhem rounds: 6 symbols = 500x the bet + bonus rounds, 5 symbols = 100x the bet + rounds, 4 symbols = 20x the bet + rounds, 3 symbols = only rounds (10 Kong Bonus Spins or 5 Fishin' Mayhem Spins).
Kong Bonus Spins: 10 spins; accumulation of Collect Scatter-symboler gives extra spins and multipliers - 3 give 5 extra spins and x2 multiplier, 6 give 5 extra spins and x3, 9 give 5 extra spins and x5, 12 give 5 extra spins and x10. The multiplier applies only to cash values under 49x the bet.
Fishin' Mayhem: 5 spins with a special collection grid; only cash prizes pay. Accumulation of Kong symbols awards extra spins and raises the minimum cash value: 3 symbols = 3 extra spins + 2x the stake as a minimum, 6 symbols = 3 extra spins + 3x, 9 symbols = 3 extra spins + 5x, 12 symbols = 3 extra spins + 8x the stake as a minimum.
Red, blue and green Bonus Scatter symbols fill the corresponding Feature Upgrade bank (Extra Spins, Collect Boost, Trail Boost), which can be combined with each other and activated in the next triggered bonus.
In Power Play mode (if the operator allows it) the player can choose Standard Power Play (5x the base bet), Super Power Play (10x) or Ultra Power Play (20x) - in each mode only certain scatter symbols are active, increasing the chance of the bonus. Feature rounds are always played at the base bet even in Power Play mode.
